A talk with Axel Allétru

Wednesday 15 March, 17h30 - 18h00

Without grudge life

I was considered one of the greateast hopes of French motocross when a serious crash at the 2010 World Championships left me paraplegic at only 20 years old. Rather than resign myself, be angry and give up, I worked hard in rehabilitation. I exceeded the doctors' expectations and can now walk again. After my accident, I was able to adapt. My speaking engagements are an opportunity to motivate and inspire my audience, by showing them the attitude they can adopt in their daily lives to overcome the ordeal of paraplegia in particular and the trials of life in general. I have ambitions, I keep dreaming. I want to take a new turn in my sport. I am part of the new generation of pilots who want to reconcile values and passion, commitment and sport.

So, riding electric is for me the logical continuation of my approach, my desire to live my passion in harmony with my environmental values.
