Daniel leads all of Google's business, shopping and payment activities, including overseeing strategic partnerships and business strategy around the world. His team's activities include collaborating with Google's business partners to grow their businesses across platforms, offering frictionless payment solutions, and commercializing new business products and services through strategic partnerships.
Prior to leading the Google Shopping and Payments business, Daniel held various leadership positions at Google, including president of Google Global Partnerships and Alliances, president of Asia Pacific based in Tokyo and Singapore, and vice president of Latin America.
Daniel holds two degrees from Harvard University: an MBA from Harvard Business School and a doctorate in law from Harvard Law School. He graduated with honors from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He is fluent in English, Spanish, French and German and speaks Russian.
Daniel sits on the board of directors of Select Comfort (Nasdaq: SCSS), a Minnesota company.
