Romain Roulleau has been a recognized leader in digital and E-Commerce for almost 20 years.
He was previously Director of Digital and E-Commerce for the AccorHotels group, responsible for the development of online sales and digital strategy for the group worldwide.
Its responsibility covered the multi-brand portal Accorhotels.com and all hotel brand sites, all available in 18 languages and 33 markets for an online turnover of about 2 billion euros. He was one of the founders of the first marketplace hotel in 2015 with the addition of nearly 2000 independent hotels to complete the offer of the 4200 hotels operated by the group.
Romain is 45 years old and graduated from EBS (European Business School) in 1994.
Romain started his career in the Distance Selling industry at Raja, the European leader in business packaging. He created Internet activities in 2000-2001 with the launch of one of the first European e-commerce platforms. In 2006, he joined the SNCF Group successively as Marketing and E-Commerce Director of RailEurope, a distribution subsidiary in Europe and as Europe Director of Voyages-SNCF.com where he increased online sales outside France from 0 to 50 million euros in 2 years.
In October 2008, he joined the Accor group to manage online sales and enabled the group to grow strongly on the internet by increasing online share from less than 12% to nearly 16% of sales.
In 2011, he took over the Presidency of the European leader in Internet skiing, the Travelhorizon Group / Skihorizon, before handing over the group to Dutch Tour Operator Sundio. He then joined the group Voyage Privé as Chief Executive Officer of the media subsidiary of the group L'Officiel des Vacances.
In August 2013, Romain joined the Accor group to lead all the group's digital and E-Commerce activities worldwide, at the time of the launch of the Group's digital transformation plan.
In March 2018 he joined the Conforama Group as Deputy Chief Digital & E-Commerce. He will manage the digital strategy and all E-Commerce activities in all markets where the group is present in Europe.
